Congratulations on a No.8, thought it would / should be higher up the rank... I voted this No.3

Nicely done - like the composition and the DOF

This photo could well have been my favourite if it wasn't for one thing - the DOF is too small to read the spines of the novels. I think you photo will still do well in this challenge but would have scored higher if you had stopped down a but.

High in my faves. Great subject with a processing that fits and could prove popular. I'm wanting a bit more DOF but overall a very fine image. Good luck!

Should have saved this for the next competition. Well done in my TT.

I think that this fits well with the theme. I like the depth of field that you have chosen.

Love the colouring and the focus! Also, I find it cool how the gold lettering really shines in the picture.

Effective composition with judicious use of depth of field makes for a nice image. The vintage books certainly do a good job of meeting the challenge requirement. I like the saturation level you chose, as well. It nicely suits the subject matter. One of my favorites.

Excellent image, good PP. the dark areas are just right. Great feel to the entire image. One thing I would say, due to the subject I find myself wishing I was able to read the titles a bit better. Maybe the DOF is a bit shallow, but that shouldnt affect my voting. Still an excellent image!
