Kudos for creativity - I wouldn't even know where to start to get a result like this. I'm afraid the background and foreground let it down though.

I love what you made out of the pieces of paper, very clever! I'm not so fussed on the background though. You made a good choice choosing paper products for it but I think plainer paper would have helped as the object is made of plain paper too. I think cropping in quite a bit closer to the subject and loosing the corners of the paper would add impact. GL.

Neat paper construction, but books in the background are distracting. Would prefer a white seamless background - some bracing behind to "square up" the shape would help, too.

I like the time and effort you have taken to produce something original.Well done.

Very interesting display! How did you learn to make this? It looks like most of this was made just by cutting vertical slices in the paper. Kudos!!! In my favs. Just needs a better background.

I really like this interesting structure, and the way the planes are emphasized by the tones. I think I would have preferred an arrangement that didn't show the surroundings.

Such a cool paper work. Such a distracting background. Angle the cam and shoot on black and this could be a winner.

Always intrigued by paper cut and fold and pop-up books. Any references you can give me on the how to's of this? Any web sites, etc.?

Excellent steps! I can't say I am too fond of the background and foreground. Your image would have been a lot more powerful using a white or neutral background. It would have brought a lot more emphasis to the stairs and the subtle shadows and shades of grey.
