Now this is a great example of religion of the world. Most people seem to forget that there are other faiths besides their own.
I usually like more color but this photo seems to be strong without it. Nicely done. In my TT~!

Though I have no way of knowing what lies outside the 'frame', I wonder if you cropped this a little close. Otherwise, I love the b&w and the human element in the photo. I *might* have tried to clone out the barely-seen object in the backgtround. Definitely in my top ten.

My #1 pick, great work.

A great picture, doubtless - specially contrast and framing. However, for me, I think this one is somewhat too classical, like a déjà vue - certainly a beautiful one. The reflection in the background is disturbing a little bit.

I like this photograph. Black and white is perfect here. I like the framing and the inducted monk with his earthly goods strapped to his shoulder.

It wasn't until my second look that I noticed his feet outside the frame.
I love the symbolism, one step away from entering monkhood world.
Excellent concept and a quality B/W image make it a TT for sure!

In my top 3 for sure. This will probably win, or come very close.

I really like the candid composition. I'm not sure how I feel about it being black and white. Something tells me that the colors would have been interesting.

Beautiful shot! Interesting subject and great composition. I would be interested in knowing where you took it.

Conversion to B&W certainly adds to the power of this image.
Beautifully framed and a dramatic flavor added with the central Monk standing outside the frame.
I would have cloned out the distracting dots in the background. Great composition and focus. In my TT.

Very nice B&W. Great composition and tones. thought it was a frame at first until I saw the monk was outside and realized it was a door. in my TT.
