Thanx LaRee. The creative inspiration block has left me indeed! Hopefully it won't come back again. Also the tips on the forum helped me allot. Not every challenge needs a winning photo, eventually it does, but i doesn't mean it has to be one of my pictures. So, I just shoot away and maybe there's a winning photo between all these pictures. I also keep my eyes open on the panasonic dpreview forum (www.dpreview.com). Sometimes there are some nice pics which bring you to a brillant idea.

Oké, first of all, thank you all for your comment. I'm verry pleased to see this picture did well ;-). Hopefully i can keep up doing this well. !!!! Here's the trick behind the pic. !!!!!! Just sliced the apple on an ordinary way, then placed the middle piece on a stick and put two horizontal sticks carefully through the separated slices. created a nice distance between the slices and placed the total on a piece of foam against a black background (cloth). Took the picture and PSP XI did the rest. Quiet innovative I think.....give it a try, the results are quite extraordinary as you can see ;-)!!!!!

    - I've no idea how you did it , but very innovative to me, I liked the colour & play of light over the segments, great shot.

Definitely a WOW factor in this extrordinary photo. The lighting and bkg give it a 3D look. Begs the question 'how'd you do that ?' My #1

Great picture and idea, my favorite. A little less reflection of the light would give it better look like the left side, also you can see the fold of your background on the right side.

A great idea for the theme. Well setup and lighted. 2nd and 3rd slice in from the right have blown high lites but overall well captured.

What a cracking (splitting?) shot! For me, more even lighting would have moved it up a notch, but that's just a minor thing.

Wow! How did you get all those apple slices to hover together like that? Your subject looks really crisp (pun intended) and I like the texture in the background.

Very striking and original concept. I might have centered the apple more precisely. How did you get the pieces to stand up? In my top ten.

The apple slices look to be floating above the black cloth. Very well done.
