Post-Processing: Adjust Levels, a touch of saturation adjust, unsharpen mask in LAB, two clicks with a clone tool.       Extra Info: About the camera : .jpg from camera, no additional lenses.

About the desert : Poached pear in a Strawberry mint sauce. If you thought cooking it and taking its photo was fun, you should have tasted it. Some of my better cooking work, if I might say so.

Thanks! I am glad a couple of people recognized the 'thing' on the right a trumpet.....I should have used a slightly looser crop on it,......I am all nervous about the next challenge now.

    - I liked the colours against the dark backdrop & the way you have caught the surfact textures of the food, trumpet on the right doesn't bother me , I agree with previous comment about plate, but this was still my first choice.

Nice composition. Love the lighting. Makes me feel I have just had dinner with someone I love and am enjoying everything after dinner brings.

In my top 3. This should be on a menu cover at an expensive restaurant.

With a little looser crop on the right side, it would have made my first choice.

Well done.

    Very beautiful setup.
A shame the right edge of the plate had to be cut off.
In my top 10.

Looks like a fabulous dessert and you've set it up nicely and good exposure to capture the mood. Well done!

A beautiful and delicious presentation. Excellent color and detail.
I like the way the gold drape balances the frame with the color of the wine. Top 3 for me.

The lighting is superb. One of the most important things in good food photography. You have that nailed. I think it would be better without the candlestick. Beautiful work though!
