      Extra Info: I learned of this technique while browsing other challenge sites.
The flower sits about 6 inches below a glass plate coated with 'rainx' (to shape the water drops and form a sort of fisheye lens).
The size and placement of the drops were controlled with a hypodermic syringe.
FZ30 with a 6T macro lens mounted on a reversed tripod above the glass.

    WOW! Thanks for your votes and comments. I'm glad to share this technique with you, this is my first try at it and am working to perfect it.

    I really like this effect, but have always been a sucker for macro flower shots. I also like that it was done the old fashioned way (ie without photoshop) Well Done!

    This is an awesome image. I think it is sooo cool. But maybe it would be better more purple as it looks more pink on my monitor. Good Luck. IN my TT~!

    Love this one. With so many flower entries, it takes something pretty special to stand out, and this shot has it. Really beautiful. Even without the water drops it would be an excellent shot but the drops take it to another level. Very interesting technique and thanks so much for sharing the details.
