Thanks April and Linda and all the others who liked it. I'm honoured to get third place with so many great shots around.

The cat was not added, and probably was crouching inside or something, it was gone a minute later and I can show you a shot of the hole in the door if you want. I don't think I even know how to add a cat properly to this shot. This was a lucky opportunity, and that's all.

Like this shot, the door and walls are great, somehow, unless it is me it looks like the cat was added because I don't see a cat standing without the back legs. IfI am wrong I am sorry that I didn't vote it in the top 5.

    LOL this is FUNNY!!! :-) :-) :-)

And a nice pic for the theme too :-) great colours, even the lovely cat has the same colour pattern of the stone! And great timing here too, to catch the little fellow in the right moment... my only complaint would be that composition is a little tight above, would habe been nice with a little extra stone over the door...
But it's a minor complaint, and the extra fun makes your pic my #2 favourite. A really lucky shot that I hope will have a lot of votes. Best of lucks!! :-)

Thank you all for the kind words and warm encouragement. It was a lucky shot, I spotted the door and took out my camera, and then saw the cat's face peeping out of the hole... would have made an even better shot :) then it started coming out so I was lucky to get this before it ran away

    Wonderful shot!
Great technique, color and very funny idea!
Doors of this classy kind I only know from trips to Spain and Italy. Now I'm curious where you may come from.

Great capture! Did you wait for the cat to appear or was it a stroke of luck? The door is very interesting and the colours and textures provide good contrast. I would have been tempted to get rid of the distracting branch on the left, but that's a minor point and doesn't stop this being my #1 favourite. Good luck!

The cat really helps to make this picture. You wonder if that panel was purposely modified for the cat or simply a repair with the hole added later. Really cute. A kitten has a way of softening up your feelings and emotions.

Your door is nice, but some life added to the pic is a bonus. In my top five.

I almost entered a door with a cat. That must be a natural thing for a cat to want to be near! LOL But yours is so color coordinated with the blue and tan door picking up the tan cat and steps -this really makes a very interesting capture.
TT~! GL!
