Congrats on your TT finish! I expected you finished even better, your pic was my #3 favourite, really a lucky find for the theme, along with nice PP job... well done!!

Thanks to all your kind comments (even from Switzerland).

The scenery was shot as seen (G1, 400 mm) and - for sure - I tried several angels to get the clock as wanted (just behind the top wheel), but didn't succeed. Nevertheless I'm happy that you like this shot.

regards

You were fortunate to stumble across this surreal scene, and you've done a great job with the photo. In my TT.

one of my favorites, when I saw this pic I immediately tougt about that clock behinde basicle....I would like that beck weel of basicle is corectly in front of basicle weel, it would make the composition very special! Well done:) In my TT

Some might question the aptness of the image to the theme but your tweaking the color has certainly put it in the realm of the surreal.
Perhaps a more provocative caption, such as, 'taking the plunge' might have tweaked the viewers interest in to what fate has befallen to the cyclist.
In my Top 3.

Clone out the distracting clock and you'd have my vote.

don't know if it is parked there or caught in mid flight on its way down.... but you see a lot of weird things in the wee hours of the late night. i like the feel of this shot. good luck with it.

Like the shot a lot. Love what you have done with the colours, they suit the shot. The only minor element against for my eye is the prominence of the clock in the background.

This is great! Did you set it up or did you just happen upon it? The post processing really makes it too.
