Another puzzling result! OK, it may not fit the song title quite as well as some of the other entries, but it is a beautiful, peaceful shot that deserved to finish higher!

BTW, I disagree with Jade about the lighting and colour. I think they are perfect for the scene.

I find the colours and composition of this shot very pleasing to the eye. I'm just not altogether sure it says anything about the morning as it could be any time of day. I do like the shot though! Good luck!

I have many ideas for a wonderful morning, but looking at a buoy would not be my #1. I like the picture, but I cannot make a connection to the song.

OK. I see a gentleness in this pic which is probably the appeal to the beautiful morning. It is NOT the great light, it is the gentle slow movement of the water that matches the makers mood. Perhaps I am stretching but that is what I get. I think for that mood to be right I would want the framing tree a little more in focus and detailed.

Surely the song "oh what a beautiful morning" can be conveyed into an image in a much more creative way then this shot? While there is technically nothing wrong with the photo it says nothing about the song at all. I see a float bobbing on the water from such a close angle that all it is, is a float. It could have worked if the beauty of the surrounding area and a sunrise were also incorporated into the scene.

Thanks Jade O. If you look the pic once more, yousee there isn´t any fishing line, but a rope from boat to the buoy. I tried to get right the color of the buoy faded by the sun. Maybe I was too honest.

No doubt a beautiful image in simplicity and use of foliage for framing, with the fishing line providing a nice draw into the subject. The match with the song is apropo but the image itself is too flat both in lighting and in colour saturation for me.
