Whoa! veeery nice that pic in Fujimugs!! I like specially the PP you added to the fingers to resemble Gollum's. Great!!
Nice coincidence in tastes, too :-)

Hey f-otto, you caught me! :-D
Yeah, my nickname comes from many years ago, when I readed the Drizzt Do'Urden books, not the best Fantastic literature books I have readed (I'm a huge fan :-) but I liked the character, so... and, you see, I still use that nickname today :-)
Glad you also know the character, do you read Fantasy / Sci-Fi too? (I suppose the answer is yes, not so many people knows Fantasy characters apart from Frodo, Gandalf and the like :-)
Cheers,
Billy

A very strong pic no doubt, the low angle here creates a very interesting pic from such a common object. Great and lucky timing to get the two birds flying, that completes and brings life into the image. The more I look at it, the more I like it for the theme, and finally will be my #3, well done :-)

Great shot. And the birds make it an easy tt for me.

How long have you been waiting for the birds? I hope you got a massage afterwards. ;-) In my TT.

Like the height of this shot, gives the feeling of standing at the base looking up, catching the 2 birds getting ready to land on top adds to it nicely. very simple but effctive.

I didn't know what it was until I read the title.....I think that's a tribute to your success with the angle.

You know, I really really like original images of ordinary objects and I really really dislike two subjects competing for my attention. As remarkable as it is, I would've taken out the two birds; this image would have scored higher for me without them.
