Thank you all for your comments and votes. This is one of those rare images that I am perfectly pleased with.

wangi If only I could learn more often to keep it simple like this. Thanks.
Franz Thanks. I this it is the graphic quality I like most here.
Edward48 No stiff neck and I like this one as well! Thanks for commenting.

Very nice color gradient! Great pattern in the sky.
Clean and sharp. Very well done.

I love the abstract quality of this shot. It might not be the most unusual angle to view something like this. But for me it's the best shot here. I hope you didn't get a stiff neck.

Mepo Thanks. I really liked the play of blues and greys in the shot and the light is what makes it possible.

Alisande I'm not sure it's excellent but I was pleased with the result. The design does look like a native American motif but Seminole?!... I would say maybe more like Pomo Indian... (see:http://www.parks.ca.gov/?id=5520&page_id=25591)

You have made an artistic photo by your choice of view - well done. The blended tint of the sky adds to the effect. Well done.

I'm seeing Seminole designs in bridges this week. Excellent artistic quality to this shot.

kjwags and Lo, thanks. This is a pedestrian bridge over the Humber River in Toronto. Wonderfully photogenic, photographing it suffers from the lack of available clean backgrounds hence I shot it straight up. (Credit to Montgomery Sisan Architects Inc.)     Added to TT, nice take of some unusal angles of top of what I assume is a bridge.

This is a really striking picture, with its simple lines and repetitive shapes. I'd like to know what the structure is.

rafinmelb Thanks. I played with a few croppings but settled on this to maximize the screen area. I tried your 16:9 but found it too narrow and still feel this image looks best framed as it is at about the existing 5:4 scale.

elliott Thanks. I value your comments particularly so because I so greatly admire so many of your images shot. The lighting was perfect and this was one of six images of this bridge I was considering and the last one I decided to post, hence the number. I chose this because it was the "cleanest" and evoked for me the artistic styles of photorealistic painters like Ken Danby, Christopher Pratt, and Alex Colville (though by no means is this close to their calibre.)

An really elegant shot. The gentle curve of the bridge span is juxtaposed against the triangular patter inside the structure. The traingles just seem to want to grab my eyes.

I played around with my browser and looked at it in a 16:9 ratio. I think there is added punch to an already punchy shot. TT regardless
