Franz - LOL the new LED TV's work fine on the side :-)

Jade - Actually you noticed the points that I had hoped would have meaning. The socks to indicate the shoes kicked off tired feet at the end of the day; the hand - close to the remote to show he did try to watch some TV; the face - to show he was out cold; the remote - see hand; the cover because you get cold when you are tired. But you were not supposed to see a white background because it is gray:-) Some day you will work 9 to 5 in a stationary office and you will know what this is all about (I hope that never happens) Thanks again for your detailed comments.

Billy - Sorry to hear you have the same experience :-P Not a self portrait - This is my eldest son who is much more alive when he is not doing office work. I dislike direct flash too but had little option this time.

You have nicely controlled the usual harsh effects of direct flash here (maybe your PP have helped nicely, too :-) and I like this candid ┐self portrait, maybe?, as it remembers me what usually happens to me when I sit to watch some TV after a hard day at work... TT for me, well done :-)

On theme but my eye has five points of interest in this image, those socks, the hand, the face, the remote and that blazing white background. Because I feel the face should be the subject, (and not the whole boy - otherwise why would the body be covered and obscured?) I think you should have shot a much closer facial portrait on this one.

LOL, personally I have a lot of experience with this special kind of "watching TV"... ;-)
But I don't know whether it does damage to the TV to stand on its side all the time - and actually I've got a pain in my neck after a while.
