    Congratulations - my #3 so I wasn't far off.

The problem here is that I thought the onions were Jade's entries because they were so good - Jade on the other hand realized that they were not mine, probably for the same reason ROFLOL.

Beautiful clean image and nice placing next to an outstanding first place image.

I have a red onion in my outtakes, and I am glad I didn't use it for the challenge as yours is perfect! In my TF.

Good use of dof to focus attention from the handle to the pointed tip of the knife. TT

Great composition and the lighting is right on. Nice work!

The colours are perfect; love the open space in front - almost makes it an illusion. My #3

Heck!! what happened to the UFO?? BattleKnife Galactica attack??? :-D :-D :-D
I like this one even more than the Main one... light is even better, the composition is great, and it calls superbly for kitchen / everyday cooking.
My top pick here and my favourite in the whole challenge, great job!!

Thanks harpazo_hope, I'm happy you like it.
Alby, HA! I hoped you would like this one!!! At first I had some very close macros from the onion and the blade and liked them. But then -and this is actually true- I thought "Alberto surely would like some 'stronger' composition" and so I did one step backwards. Thanks for the inspiration and the feedback!

Rino and Jade, thanks for your nice comments.
Jade, I think you speak of the bright illuminated drip of onion juice and that sharp reflection on the knife edge, that I had in my mind AFTER I ran out of time for the challenge... ;-)

Much more refined image that your (presumed) other entry with the onion. This one has some punch though I feel there is still more drama that you might get out of these clean elements. Still well taken overall. (Diving mask?....hmmm...doesn't look like Mepo's photography....)
