Extra Info:
I had few opportunities to search for pics as at the Golden Hour I'm at work, and the weekends have been dull... I found this nice couple enjoying a peaceful sunset and decided to give the pic a try; asked them for not looking to the camera to preserve their intimate moment, they were very collaborative as I took a nice bunch of pics.

Congratulations Superbilly LOL Finding you is not so difficult, you have enormous talent and your Joie de vivre shines through in your compositions. I'm happy you did not fall off the cliff - I have experienced some embarrassing falls while backing up to get a picture LOL

Congrats Billy for a fine finish and top marks for shooting well in tough conditions. You are a wonderful addition to these challenges for your photos and your comments.

Thank you very much for such nice comments, dear friends :-) I'm very happy you like it, thanks!!
Also, I'm aware the pic has some flaws, that you pointed very well... composition is a bit too much centered, and the blown highlights over the mountains hurt a bit; I was very undecised about cropping or not to balance that, and finally decided to left the pic as it was, mainly to hear your opinions about that. Now I know: better cropping :-) (I like your suggestion, elliot, cropping the top to make a more "panoramic" pic really works and the light doesn't loose his charm)
The pic has also its little story, it was taken the day of the terrible storm, what finally wasn't such bad here in my region. But at this particular time, the wind was blowing really strong, and I had a lot of stability problems, the wind was pushing me very hard backwards and, as I was usint the long end of the zoom to cope with flares and "flat" the perspective, I got lots of blurred pics, finally this one seemed to be sharp and spot on... probably due to that the composition wasn't very inspiring, but I liked the lighting result (the very nice couple quickly changed their place when I finished shooting, they were really very collaborative :-)
A final comment for Mepo... Michael, you are definitively a real Sherlock Holmes LOL :-D :-D yes, it's my pic, caught me again!!
FYI: yes, they were close to the hill edge, but weren't at risk, the wind was blowing against them/me... in fact I was more at risk, as the other edge of the hill was getting closer and closer as the wind pushed me backwards... a powerful reason to end the photo session, I didn't wanted to finish the day rolling down to take a bath at the sea LOL!! :-D :-D :-D

Perfect caption for the subject!
...First place...But I think the composition could be more interesting with the lovers placed a little bit on the right

I envy them their beautiful sunset looking out over the hills. It's a wonderful capture of life and love.

My initial attraction to this was coupled by the observation that it was one of Billy's shots (please take that as a compliment). However the more I see it the more I dislike the area blown by the setting sun. I also am apprehensive that the couple are going to roll off the edge of the hill - now that would lead to some humorous shots LOL

this gets top honors from me. this best captures what the challenge was about (i think). if i scroll down, i crop off the blown out sky and think the photo becomes even stronger. what do you think. good luck with entry. el

The colours are warm as is the couple so the mood is well presented. I especially like the lit highlights in the hair and body outline but I find the dead centre composition less effective and the bodies of the two couples insufficiently defined for my taste.
