      Extra Info: This image of a cluster of modern Chicago Skyscrapers along with a venerable Gothic building was acquired using a Minolta MD Celtic 135 mm f3.5 lens with an adapter on a G1 for an effective length of 270mm.

    I like the way these contrasting styled buildings reach up to a peak high above the city, giving the impression that higher is better. I wonder?

    I can't say I like the overall blue cast but I imagine the atmospheric conditions were extremely difficult. Nice to see someone else experimenting with their old SLR lenses.

    This is beautifully composed. It underlines the height of the modern skyscapers while giving presence to the smaller gothic building. The blue cast seems to unite everything together.

    You've nicely captured the geometric patterns here. The image elements do look a little "soft" and I think I would have tried a further boost in contrast, sharpening, or both.

    this one reminds me of what I left behind when I retired as I had an office window that gave me a view like this. would have liked the picture taken earlier /later in the day which may have brought more emphasis of the gothic building.
