Apr 12, 2010		     I had to count. 7 in the Main with one miss. 9 in the open. It adds interest for me and I find it instructive as I have learnt more about individual styles and what makes them work.

Apr 11, 2010		     Your photo perfectly illustrates the frustration we all feel when something this utilitarian replaces a classic building. Some modern buildings are absolutely beautiful - This isn't one of them.

Apr 10, 2010		     I'm betting the old building will survive the new. What a shame to put such a tepid design next to the beautiful old building. I'm guessing Old Finn for the clear whites and fine detail but please consider it a compliment if I'm wrong. In my tt - I like the comment that you have made.

Apr 9, 2010		     Well executed in a documentary style with fine clarity and sharpness in all the elements. Nice title too. I suspect in another 150 years both buildings will be viewed as classic examples of their period.

Apr 9, 2010		     Another case of an architect with no thought to background and blending. still the older building will still be there when the new one is knocked down in about 20 years time. the picture works in balance and shape
