Jade - just give me one of those exoskeletons that Sigourney Weaver had in "Aliens" and I'll have it out of there in no time.

Lo, for sure I thought you would have just got in and moved the offending rig!!! (A little like Marvin who complained the earth was blocking his view of Venus!) Nice capture all the same!

I can see the connection with the theme, but maybe it's a bit "thin" anyway, I feel it fits better a "vehicle" idea. Theme apart, is a beautiful image (and truck :-), I like the tight composition that gives the feeling of "power" very well. Good luck!

Thanks forkcandles, I particularly like the solid, boxy style of this one. In North America, many drivers take pride in how they deck out their trucks with paint and lights - they're quite a sight at night on the highways.

Jade, I couldn't take a shot at 90 degrees - the close crop was necessitated by another truck parked on the right. I'm not sure if the truck would have been as impressive side-on, although the disconnect would have been more obvious.

I like the tractor but question the angle for showing the disconnect. Why not shoot in side profile? (ie. 90 degrees from the side of the trailer)

I just love these type of trucks we call them lorries in UK! one of my neighbours with more money than sense drives one of these as a private vechile, so gets some comment in public car parks. the cropping works here and shows how a close crop helps the picture
