I like the way you included the final product along with the harvester. Great timing on having it just breaking out of the crop. The cloud of dust also gives a good sense of movement.

Beautiful composition, one can almost hear the noise of the machinery and smell the dust in the summer air.

Things have certainly changed from the days I spent a summer on the farm. Air conditioned cabs and the size of the machinery.

The beautiful colours make this a pleasant image to look at. Composition wise, I would have been tempted to zoom/walk backwards a bit in order to have the whole hay in the frame, not so tightly cropped. But otherwise a nice image, well done!

Thanks for your comments - always appreciated. I took several shots from a variety of angles - but was limited by my position behind the fence, and the distance of the harvester as it came toward me. I tried a couple of different crops to increase the size of the machine, but in the end opted for the uncropped version.

the John Deere's have taken over from the Massey Fergusons who made these machines in the UK but they were more impreessive as they were bright red
possible slightly lower down to more size the harvester and the bottom of the hay roll

Exposure, colour and composition here looks very good. Nice topic also, something a bit different and interesting, in my TT, good luck!

All the elements are here and well arranged. I wonder if there was opportunity for a more dramatic angle.

First thing that pops of the page is the beautiful colors. I've never seen one of these in action, but I hope to some day. I know it is picky, but I wish the hay bale circle wasn't cut off. Still a very strong image.
