LOL - Biggest thing I actually few was a twin Otter, DeHavilland's Chief Test pilot by my side but he would not let me land it as I had no float time - what a spoilsport (and a lifesaver). I don't clean up after the passengers - I'm the Captain for goodness sake. I leave that to the cabin crew in my Piper Cub. You certainly hit a nerve with that last point. I must be marked. Every other time I fly I get hit with a John Candy double from Plains, Trains & Automobiles. Gotta maintain a sense of humour :-)

Michael, you fly CF-18's??!!! Or should that be... "...CF-18's, Sir!"

No, I think your plane was always late because you kept traveling in that oscillating flight path; takes at least twice as long you know! (And the passenger clean up takes even longer.)

Or, maybe you mean now, in which case it probably has more to do with all that carry-on you're trying to stuff in the overhead compartments five minutes after everyone else has managed to get seated and buckled in.... ;-)

Now I know why my plane is always late.

Lol! mrsawyer. If you look at the notes below, I actually did this one AFTER the main entry starting at midnight on the day of entry deadline and it took me about two hours! (of course, it was crazy to stay up to 2 a.m. but I really didn't think it would take that long!) Of course I also left the main entry too late to do a proper job there for what I intended to shoot but it worked out in the end.

Congrats on your top 3 finish! Now I know why you ran out of time on your main entry. You were too busy juggling toasters and such!

Well it's interesting to learn that your humour was aquired. Now I wonder where or who you aquired it from. Now quit looking at the past entries and get something for this colour spot nonsense. Personally, I am getting severely frustrated with that challenge LOL I mean ALL my entries have a focal point of interest that is blatantly obvious; why do I have to make it even more obvious with colour?

Jade - If you get that government grant, I want to come along for the ride. You can fly the Herc and we will put your whole kitchen in the back. I'll do the photos and jump out the back when I'm done LOL First the acquarium and now this acquanaut? you seem to be all at c lately. I wouldn't mention it but I know what a perfectionist you are :-)

Two great finishes - both taking us in new directions. Congratulations!

Congrats on your 1/3 - saw the video - I used to fly like that all the time, I thought it was normal until my Instructor suggested otherwise :-)

Not sure what inspired this! Seems like a lot of trouble to catch motion this way! At least nothing is broken in the process. I assume your technique will be divulged in the forum.

Very very good! In my TF. (The only thing I don't like is the greenish color that dominates the picture.)

Lol! Michael. Ask Lo and she will tell you how this was done. Of course everything would hit the ceiling at the same time, unless there is a really high ceiling in which case wind resistance might have something to do with it. Ask Galileo, and he will tell you...
(Really more time and I would have taken a shot of coffee pouring out of the mug and then turned that frame on its head, too, and maybe some toast, a cat floating would be fun! (In case you're wondering, it looks something like this...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SN77b9DqEbc)

When objects are subjected to anti-gravity, do the same rules apply as in normal gravity. In other words would cornflakes and a toaster hit the ceiling at the same time (if in a vacuum)? Not sure how you achieved this but it seems to be a good way to clean up the kitchen after breakfast. Now if I stand on my head and look at it, everything seems to fall into place (sorry - I couldn't resist that). And p.s. - it's just as well you didn't have more time LOL (the whole kichen might have gone). Maybe you could get a government grant to continue your studies :-)

Thanks, Lo. Just handheld the stuff with a delayed shutter then cropped and layered.

Just great - love the concept. How did you manage all the positions?

fc I know, I should have had java running up from the mug and toast flying out of the toaster!

Honestly, Franz, from start of shooting to uploading was about 2 hours.

piman Really needs a model floating to make this pop but I was short on models as I started this about midnight on the day of deadline. Good eye to note the whites are way off! And, I agree, the toaster is best!

Well done shows what can be done, and if more time some hash browns and or grits in the middle.

Wow, this looks like a lot of work you have done for this picture. A very good "recreation" of motion and a wonderfully different idea! Great caption.

You are my PS Idol. Truly Far Out. The tumbling toaster is best ! Hardly noticed the whites aren't white. Fine work !
