Very nicely captured with the textures and colors complimenting the composition.

Thanks for the link. That was interesting, she seems to have been a woman with great determination. The sounds in a storm must be something else!

Wonderful textures and color tones here. An apparently simple subject that is not simple at all. Nice selective crop as well.

What a beautiful sculpture! I know it was built in the late 1960's, so it has really stood the test of time. You have really captured the intricate work of the artist, who toiled for so many years to produce this monument.

Thanks noodler1 and Mepo. Here is a link to more information of the monument. There you can read about the voices heard there too:

I remember this from the World Exhibition in Montreal in 1967 where they had a small part of it on display. It's amazing that the metal and texturing are still in such good condition. I would love to see the whole thing one day. You have ceretaintly captured the essence of the monument here - I still remember how we were puzzled that we thought we heard sound from it when there was none. Does theoriginal make any sound when the wind blows for example? Fantastic enrtry - love everthing about it.

Thanks Jade O. The two tone was natural, not a PP effect.

The two tone brings some life and depth and is effective for that reason.
