@mrsawyer-yes this is a handheld shot. I took it outside for better lightning but the wind just keeps some part moving.
I tried to straighten it but it affects the whole framing so i decided to leave it as it is. :)

It can be difficult to make dying flowers attractive, but you have done a fine job here with the muted earth tones. I like this a lot. My top favorite.

Was this a handheld shot? I ask because some parts do not seem clearly focused and I see your shutter speed was 1/30 sec. Also the vase seems to lean too much to the right. All in all a beautiful capture though. I think the background fits well.

While not as striking as the gladiolus photo, this fading flower arrangement has its own muted richness of colour, and a very interesting shape against the stucco background

I like this image a lot. I just wish the vase had been a little straighter, but still in my top five!
