Post-Processing: Cloned out background distraction and two spots. Resized for web.       Extra Info: My neighbor went on a short vacation and brought a very young feral kitten home. When the kitten was found, her litter mates were dead. This little girl is now thriving and has a forever home. Her name.... Reba.

OK - As I seem to put a glint in the eye of most females, I've put one in yours :-) see the outtakes.

i wonder who could post something in outtakes ;-) Give me some time and I'll do the eyes (don't know how well but I'll give it a shot.) As to your other comment on my entry, I've posted a slightly larger version with more detail in outtakes.

Thanks for all the comments, both good and bad. Since I don't do much PP, I wish someone would add the highlight to that "dead eye" so I can see how and where it would be placed.

I can tell you have a knack with animals. Or maybe they just all play up for your camera....

Lucky Reba! All the best to her! Well captured picture of a touching moment. I like the little paws right beneath the hand.

Wish there was more detail in the eye. Absolutely lovely shot and the story is touching. I'm guessing she was the fourth one in the litter.

Just love this one. You can hear it sucking the solution. It will grow

I really have a thing about "dead" eyes in animals; I feel you need a glint of light even if you need to add it in PP. That said, this is well framed and unusual enough to make it into my No. 2 slot.
