Congratulations, Jade O. This was my #1. I truly love it! I'll be checking the outtakes!

Thanks, mrsawyer. Different and experimenting is what permits us to progress (or nauseate viewers depending on the level of success.) I tried different looks in both entries. The really good "different" look I think is very well executed is an example of Roland B's work found on the most recent post in the General Forum.

Thanks, Una. Brave as she was, those feet can inflict a nasty scratch, but see outtakes to see she was not also foolish.

Very brave! Both the girl, and the unusual but coherent post processing. In my favourites.

Old Finn Less brave that it appears (see outtakes). Even a young reptile could easily rip out her jugular if reality was exactly as it looks here. The poor quality of the original is what called for all the PP.

Michael See outtakes for my intended version, but still with white hair. The eyes are cloned exactly from the animal but too small to really make the point. The trade off was to include the complimentary cures between back and tail which overall looked better than a tighter crop. [Edit] The eyes...I get it! Funny! Given you had the choice, I'm pleased this made your top 10.

Im not sure if the picture is better after all that hard work than before. Anyway, nice curves with that creature, good composition and the young lady is brave.

The pp is attractive but the white around the face (in the hair) disconnects it too much from the body, Have you noticed how the neckline could be the lower open jaw of the croc? I wonder which would be more dangerous for a finger :-DD Did you colour the eyes identically on purpose? Does this have any significance? LOL I'm putting this in my tt because you seem to live dangerously.

fc Mum was lunch -- just kidding! See outtakes for the presentation I intended to post - similar but with more colour (less washed) and more definition.

RolandB, a very nice comment from someone whose comments carry a lot of weight with me. Unfortunately, I uploaded the wrong pic! (See outtakes for the intended version of this shot.)

OK... I sure wish I'd taken something this good (and unusual). Excellent processing.
