Thanks again for all the comments. Taking your advice I cropped it to a square format down to Jordan's elbows - it looks MUCH better. |

Congratulations! Your dog is more sedate that ours. Pepe is constant motion. He and my granddaugter are really best friends. The blue eyes in your photo are the best!! |

Beautiful! Maybe I'd cropped it right under the arms of the girl, but anyway: High in my favourites! |

OK everyone - you win - I'm cropping the right side before I print it out for the young lady. I just hate missing something so obvious LOL
Old Finn - yes, a yellow Labrador but according to her owner this is her smile LOL
A. Gal - Light from window behind the camera supplement by an LED fill light on the right. Camera was on a tripod. Edited on Jun 9, 2012

Good sharpness and well exposed. The houd (Labrador?) looks being a bit doubtful about the camera. I am sure you will get your pic in the 6 best ;) Edited on Jun 10, 2012

ah the chocolate box entry. time less and lovely colours. I am sure the cropping of more of the right hand side would enhance it |

Absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the lighting in this image! I'm not too sure about the framing, but the subject is super! A top pick for me! |

Beautiful colours and highlighting. Sometimes I like negative space but I sense this needs to be trimmed on the right a tad more. Lighting can make all the difference and this shot shows why. Technically speaking the best out of my picks but might have some competition for No. 1. |
