    An excellent portrait, well composed.

A rather pensive look on a lovely girl. The square format and the soft edges of the black overlay really make the portrait pop.

Beautiful portrait. Black background certainly helps to square the composition. Well done!

Perfect use of the dimensions and a lovely subject, beautifully captured.

Eye stopping portrait of a beautiful young girl. I think I would prefer a softer vignette. I notice too that the main focus is on the hair shine rather than her eyes. The wisp of hair across the eye is distracting and one thinks at first she is crying. You have caught an abstracted, thoughtful look. What a difficult emotion that is to capture. Overall a super image that is bound to do well and more importantly will no doubt be treasured by the family.

love this one but the eyes are not engaging the viewer, there is to much of what is she looking at?

A lovely composition and totally on theme! What lighting was used here? Unusual crop, but it works. I would like to see the unretouched version in the outtakes. I'm particularly interested in what you did with the skin tone. In my top ten.
