Mepo, I know, what is wrong. My computer did not explode :-) There are some other symptons too. If you know where I can find the list, please tell me.

OK - here's the real answer. It is a hexadecimal code that can tell you what is wrong with your computer. It is used a lot on enthusiast's computers. They don't want a computer to just beep at them they want to know exactly what is happening.

If you got a code of 4F for example it might mean that your keyboard was not attached.

There are accessory boards that can be purchased if your motherboard does not have this display. Apparently the list of codes and their meaning is available on the net.

Thanks for the nice comments. I opened the side panel of my computer, turned on all lamps of the room, and took the pic. I don´t know, what the 9.9 means.

I thought about shooting the inside of a computer, but thought it too boring. Yours is quite cool looking though. (What does the 9.9. mean?) The focus, lighting and color are all great. That thing in the lower left corner is a distraction, but what can you do? My #3.

great shot. like that you got the display lit as so many circuit boards just look static when powered.

I'd love to know if this was shot in a lightbox or not. I'm thinking not. I think multiple diffuse lightsources would have helped. The shadows tend to darken the tight image too much.

I like your photo! The circuit boards are beautiful things when seen very close - I've taken a few shots of them over the years. Clever interpretation of the 'electricity' theme.
