Thanks for your comments - this new camera is really great - if only the photographer can get up to speed - still a lot to learn

WOW, Lo... you are getting the hang of that new camera quickly! LOL! This is right on theme, and very similar to one I had taken at AuSable Chasm for the challenge. Congratulations again, on a fine finish!

Great job! You found the path to two top tens!

Lo, I think you need the blown sky here and it is purposeful. But blown is blown, no way to recover details. You and Michael seem to do well with bridges and a couple of 8/9's for you as well.

The reflection off the wood path makes this for me.

Thanks for commenting. I did think about cloning out the buildings, but in the end decided to leave them as built. Try as I might, the blown out sky wouldn't respond at all to attempts to darken it without looking unnatural.

The bridge itself is situated just ahead of a waterfall. There are huge nets hung over the railing on the left side of the path. This allows anyone in a wayward boat to catch on and keep from going over the falls.

I love the composition. It is tough shooting into the sun like this and keeping detail in the bright parts. The blown out sky is my only niggle with this one.

Like your comp, nice dramatic sky. Maybe just a little busy.

A really decent shot with great interest in the play between the strong skylit cloud lighting and the strong ironwork in the bridge and wooden planking. A really purposeful reflection on man and nature wonderfully captured - I just wish you cloned out those highrise buildings to make this that more powerful a presentation.
