Panasonic DMC-GF1       10th place, 76 points
1/1250s, f9, ISO 400, 28mm, Manual, Pattern, flash

Post-Processing: Crop       Extra Info: The story so far: an "artist" sat down between the audience and directed the models about what to do. I think you can figure out, what it was about.
Ps: if I would have been the little kid, I wouldn't have covered my eyes. No, sir!

    Congratulations, akebono!
A beautiful picture and a great story! My #3 - maybe the nudity is too much provoking information for the world around Europe...

    Too serious? heh, heh :-)
Not as serious as Runzamuck, lol!
Anyway, a real pleasure to have you (and your comments) back. It is a like a breath of fresh air! (And I still really really like this shot!)

Wow! I'm not shy in saying the best image all round has finished tenth. Reminds me of Adventure Ahead. I think you are probably the best photographer in this challenge and I learn from each of your comments.

I hope you'll stick around.

We have so much to learn from you; I hope one day I can make it to Denmark. It would be fun to take a walk and shoot.

I have some friends here. http://www.photosynthesisstudio.com/
They've invited me to do a little walk and shoot and I know there is so much to learn. I think you'd appreciate their images. I wish I could express how much I appreciate this one.

I'm not sure if I do understand the extra info - but I don't care what they are doing...
...audience? really?! ...
Photographically wonderful. I love the colors, the sun, the sky,...
High in my votes!

It's to bad top of the boy was cut off. I'm sure distance between the subjects was the cause, if backed up to get top of boy would have put the ladies to far out of shot. Maybe his hands are over his eyes but his fingers are spread open, illusion of not looking while looking.

Although the shot is technically great, the human interest value is priceless! One of my top faves!

Fun! Did the kid just show up or is this some kind of a new age league he is a member of?!

the viewpoint would have been better if more of the audience was included or the child cropped out. I can see the interaction yet feel the child is to dominate

This is one of those shots that really excites me! (--and I don't mean that way!) Great great skill on display here. This is a three tone master crafted work - blue, white, & skin tones, essentially make this work, with a little natural heads of hair to temper the hard surfaces. Geometrically balanced between the panel on the left and the one on the right, weighted well between the two smaller adults and one larger child, nice depth between the sky (infinity) and the child (close enough to touch), amazing tonal range, virtually no blown highlights despite the ease with which you could have done that, this is a great shot, with a great story. I am in awe and envy that you could pull this much together so artfully. I bow before the master of the lens.
