Sorry I couldn't reply during the challenge - interent access was limited. As to the entry, Jade - thank goodness for free wifi out of Helsinki, and the help of our Admin, Mr. Sawyer. Yes, Franzo7, you have it right - even at that, getting the photo in high winds was a bit of a challenge - not as much as getting back onto the pilot boat though!

    Hi Lo, congratulations!
I know how you did it... You flipped out the screen and bend over the railing with you arm, didn't you? I use a FZ150 on job and did the same yesterday when we were on a really high viewing platform. Am I right?

Top 10, and how did you get this shot entered???? I like KJW's comment best -- next time walk the plank, lol!

An interesting performance. Composition, sharpness, colors, all well in this picture.

Quite a shot and really quite an interesting scene; the timing is perfect (both for you and the pilot - it looks like there is a bit of swell). I might have added a bit of saturation to boost the colour and sharpened after resizing to really make this one razor sharp.

Did you get this from on the ship. Would have been nice if could have gotten at an angle more to the left, maybe that way the left side of tug wouldn't have been cut off. I still like your entry.

good shot well captured. having been in the same position as the pilot I can appreciate the shot. high risk of falling between ships. even more fun at night
