    Speed bump acquisition requirements:
1. mostly luck
2. move camera horizontally (in this case left to right), but:
--initially hold camera still for ~1/3 second; freeze some subjects (e.g., building, pavement, tree, etc)
--over next 2/3 second, move left quickly, moving camera up and down once (at least in this case) for the bump part

Again, thanks all for comments. This was a great assignment and fun.

dk I just think you nailed this one in colour and subtle shading and multi-coloured lighting. It was my no. 2 pick after the winning entry.

Like the the almost abstract effect.

I really like the effect you've managed with the long exposure. It creates such interesting patterns on the dark blue backdrop.

Love the small speed bumps, good choice - they lift this out of the ordinary. In my top picks.

I really like how moving the camera against multiple light sources results in a bunch of unsynchronized yet similar waveforms.

Unsure how you achieved the effect, but though it is obviously "painted" it is extremely well done.
