The clock at the bot is not a hot crop.
Can't say I would have done better though.

Perfectly exposed, and lots of detail. The history lesson is an added bonus too. I wish the crop extended a little below the clock, as it seems too truncated here.

    Nicely framed portrait oriented shot.

Did you know that, Standard Time was invented by Scottish Canadian, Sir Sandford Fleming in 1878? Sir Sandford Fleming (1827-1915) advocated the adoption of a standard time or mean time and hourly variations from that according to established time zones. He was instrumental in convening the 1884 International Prime Meridian Conference in Washington, at which the system of international standard time - still in use today - was adopted.

    SteveBee.
the best bits of this city are surrounded by industrial garbage and vehicles. I was going to crop out everything but the clock but IKB's designs need more exposure
will show full frontal in the outtakes

An interesting subject with nice details. Placing the clock face, the focal point of the image, at the bottom edge of the frame makes the composition feel chopped off, otherwise I would place it higher among my favorites.

Interesting subject and I like tthe details. Placing the face of the clock at the bottom edge of the frame like that gives the feeling that part of the picture was lopped off. I would to see more of the tower.
