"the tree growing out the head shot." So you've been looking at my albums too :-)

So, Michael, you've seen my portrait album. All those chopped off foreheads, lol! Of course, that's one way to avoid the tree growing out the head shot.

I agree with ysal - fantastic crop - you have an excellent capability for that as you've often demonstrated.

I love the processing here. It was time well spent! The facial expression is priceless. In my top 5.

Lo Thanks. That was what I was hoping for.

SteveBee All votes count but a vote from someone whose abilities I admire makes your vote even more appreciated.

dk I really think the framing is key.

Mepo/fc You both think alike - must be related! Never thought about up the nose being a less attractive angle -the shot was taken straight on.

babysitter/ysal Now you tell me, lol! I was inspired by the high key challenge to try it here.

cookiejar Much better in high key that straight from the cam.

What a beautiful portrait, made all the more appealing by the use of high key, and the off centre placement of the subject.

Very appropriate use of high key for a portrait of such an angelic face. My #1 fav.

softness and subtle color are strengths of this attractive high key shot. Nicely framed too.

Wow - eye catching! Not a fan of low angle portraits, I think they present a less attractive view. The single light in the eye is good and the tone and composition and originality keep this high in my picks. Well done.

What a lovely photo. It would have scooped the pool in the high key challenge.

Beautiful shot, this would have also worked well in the High Key challenge.
