Congrats on your high finish! (Looks lighter on my laptop than on my expensive monitor, hmmm... )

oh, and a double top 5! Kudos!

Nice backlighting. I love the way the top of the building is silhouetted against the sky. I would prefer to have a little bit more light on the church, but that's just a matter of taste.

Just the right amount of detail in the shadows, the sun behind works very well. Great shot.

Nice Shot, like the mood you created with the backlight

Loved it right from the start. I'd have cloned away the power line - minor distraction. This appears to be a well planned shot. Well done!

    Wonderful lighting for this subject.

The backlighting is beautiful. The long exposure was a master stroke. The sky appears to be glowing like a halo around the church. Great shot.

The way the light frames the church is absolutely beautiful, and lends such a powerful feeling to the photo

Usually I'd want to see perspective correction for this sort of shot, but this works well without it.

I like the photo, but would like to see just a slight adjustment in the levels to show a little detail in the front of the Church.

the picture has a softness and the long exposure has brought out the telephone wire on left hand side.
i would have taken two shots with the one exposure for the front of the building and then one for the sky and layered it.
a good effort anyway

Whatever you did with PP, it isn't obvious which is a good thing. The lighting looks natural. Nice effect in long exposure. I really need to ask, Was this really taken with a 5mm lens?

Amazing. I like the feel of this shot. Great job on the 50 sec exposure.
