Nothing to add to my earlier comment other than to reiterate my thought that it would be unfair to mark you down for using PP.

Good impression of a window. It would have helped to have something distinctive to view outside the window.

Great colour, and the impressionistic look you've achieved with pp is quite interesting

A lot of interesting things going on here - the pastel coloured landscape and the brightly dominant coloured frame with the whole thing looking like it's made of lego. Yes - very good and very creative.

the use of a filter in pp will i think let you down

I really like this image but didn't vote for it because according to the challenge instructions: "More effort should be placed on image capture rather than post-processing." Using an impressionist filter is the opposite of that. You have a good eye and I look forward to seeing more of your images in future challenges.

Lots will criticize your use of a GIMP filter but the Challenge clearly allows for same and the mark down for PP reference was deleted so I say you've used the tools you have to get a desirable result. Not wild about your composition or subject matter as a matter of personal taste but technically there is nothing wrong with it.

Love the composition of this image, and while the software effects are nice, I would love this image even more (and given it higher marks) if it had been achieved by camera manipulation only. As evidenced by the other sample entries posted, this looks to be quite possible.
