Extra Info:
Perhaps blurring the line between between device and tool, but certainly a 'tool of the trade' for the oncologist.

Not sure if selective depth of field was the goal and if so why but you've produced a nice image all the same.

They are having a half hour infusion I'm guessing? I never expected to see Trastuzumab in a Panachallenge entry. I'm glad to say we have recently started to give doses s/c instead. It saves us so much work, and everybody has the same dose.
I hope you do better with this photo than the one I entered from my work. I had my lowest ever score as I don't think people got it.
Dramatic composition and I think the B&W works well. GL.

having spent some time on the other side this is a "tool"

B&W was the perfect choice to underline the need for accuracy and sterility in a hospital venue. Nice composition, exposure and detail.

It is definitely a tool of the trade. I like the angle taken and the composition. B&W is also effective.

Good photo but bad feeling. It's not only for the oncologist. Still the photo wins my vote.

The effective subject angle, very good B&W processing and careful use of depth of field, combine to make this at(or near) the top of my favorites. Very well done.

Nicely shot - b&w was a good choice to eliminate background distraction and for a somber subject.
