Post-Processing:
Raw image developed in LR with Auto settings and then tweaked by increasing shadows, exposure, dehaze and clarity. Spot healing used to clean bug smears on the windshield. Highlights reduced to balance and Dehaze used to increase midtone contrast.
Extra Info:
The camera was affixed to a tabletop tripod sitting on the dash of my car (not recommended unless the tripod is fastened down securely and mine wasn't). You can see reflections on the hood of the car at the image bottom.

Congrats, Steve, on another double win. Your entries are totally different, so you have really excelled at this genre.

Congrats. I guessed this might be yours. The only shot I voted in the correct finishing position :-)

Nice effect, great colours, nice balance of blur and detail.
Did you consider cropping out the bonnet - I think it would be interesting (but not necessarily better!)

Very effective and well done. I like the focused little car in the centre. Great title, too.

Well I think you win the prize for the fastest moving camera in the challenge :-). It makes a great looking shot too.

I hate to ask if your camera survived the trip. It looks like you are flying low in this shot. Great use of ICM to suggest a giddy speed.

Clever idea for how to move the camera. Consider a tighter crop that gives more attention to the "target" of all the leading lines and eliminates the hood reflection, which distracts from what should be the center of attention.

ysal: No, not that brave! The camera was not on the hood, rather on the dash inside the car. The focus was set to infinity with a wide angle lens and I manually triggered the shutter.
aoc46: Au contraire. The reflections in the hood of the car are essential to the story line.

You are very brave to drive a car with unsecured camera on the hood!! The photo came out nice. Looks like you and the car in front of you were going at about the same speed. How did you focus and fire the shutter?
