Post-Processing: adjusted brightness and contrast, resized and sharpened       Extra Info: This is really a picture in the picture! Class would have been a fine idea, but there is none.
Puh, I had never thought that distortion could be such a hard challenge!

whoooaa!! now, Franz, I really understand your pic!!! mann... I am on holyday trip and had veeery little free time to vote, so didnīt had the time to understand yours... now I see your explanation... you did an impressive job here!! per-fect-ly settled!! It would easily have ended high in my TT if I had undestand it earlier :-(
Yep, I like the result as is... but you may have reason, if you turn a little the picture, It had been more obvious your nice work... at least for me in such a hurry, little time.
Veeery well done :-)

    Hi friends,
thanks for your votes and comments!
I know that this is not the most lovingly arranged picture! But my focus was more on technical aspects. It was a real challenge and great fun to create this:
First I made the picture without the frame. Then I cropped and printed the china globe, framed it and posed it to the globes original position. But here the story begins... The picture in the frame is a two-dimensional cutout of a picture, loaded with photographic distortion and with a three-dimensional impression. So I had to arrange the frame in its 3 axes and the position of the camera (again and again) to make the two-dimensional object fit in the three-dimensional world. That was really hard and in the end every object had a new position...
I was very proud to get the feature of the picture almost invisible. But maybe I should have turned the frame for some degrees to make the surreal aspect more obvious? What do you think?

I like this but I don't understand your explanation of what you did here. Could you explain how you did this for slow-wits like me? Thanks. : )

Clever. I even lined up a ruler to see if it was a picture in the picture. Not that I don't trust you......well I suppose I didn't if I lined up the ruler. LOL
