Hi Franz, I was very tempted to suggest this one could be from you :-D but also thought that Jade's one could be yours, and yours could be Jade's... what a mix LOL!!
Very nice you finished TT, but I also expected this one would finisher higher! ;-)

Hi friends, thank you very much for your votes and the very nice comments!
Sorry for my late reply. As always I was busy during the week - even if it was 'being sick' this time. :-(
I loved to read all your comments and find it very funny that some of the opinions are in perfect contradiction to some others. It looks like one comment answering the other... :-D
Good to see all this plurality / diversity here in our community.
Actually I was concerned that my entry was too boring... I'm glad you liked it!

You are right, it is a thing of beauty and my top shot. It certainly helps to have colour co-ordinated toothpaste.

My second idea for the challenge was making something with a toothbrush... I'm happy I didn't enter that, as I doubt it could had been better than yours :-) a very nice macro, I like a lot the shallow DOF and the colour pattern, great background selection. And the pic has an extra touch of "freshness" that makes me want to take that toohbrush and use it :-D :-D
A nice image no doubt and my #2, well done!!!

Not sure for the composition...
...But it's my taste.... :-)

I love it. My only thought is that white or red toothpaste might have better set off the blue bristles.

Dont like the base, but the toothbrush is awesome. Well seen and captured.

I like this. I like the complimentary colors of the tiles with the brush and paste. Good thinking on the subject for the theme. You did well with the image too.

All of the different shades of blue are great.

I find the vaguely complimentary background a distraction and the subject a little icky even though the brush looks new. Also I find the depth of field too shallow for the subject.
