another great image and congrats on your entry

Well done with a double win!. This is similar to the Wanaka tree in New Zealand. There it is in water occasionally as the weather in the lake actually raises and lowers. Unfortunately when I was there it was on the shore all the time.

Two top placements and the photos couldn't be more different! Well done!

Congrats on the win, it is a superb shot.
Glad to know it's real ! It just looked too good to be true.
It's not a tree that we have round here - our cypresses are tall, thin and usually found in rows.
You'd got my #1 vote anyway...

Very nice. If possible, I might have tried moving a bit to the left to align the tree with the open area beyond and improve the symmetry. Or, if the view to the right is more of the same, consider including more of it in a horizontal shot with greater negative space.

I think this is a lovely example of minimalism. Even the blown area seems to add to the photo.

I hope you can take another one for the next theme! For this one it is a perfect subject but to my eye the tree plus reflection is not made quite minimal enough. It dominates the image. All that being said I still love the photo.

Fabulous! Minimalism at its best. Is this a flooded area?

    Gorgeous.

Suits to the topic, but I would have preferred a less central composition. Anyway in my favorites.

    Sweet and simple composition.

Kerszkavet: It's very real and no PP trickery. The tree isn't as far from shore as it might appear because of very wide angle lens used. Cypress trees grow in swamps and shallow ponds or lakes. It was also a foggy morning.

    An amazing image.
It looks a little unreal (why is there a tree sticking out of a lake?), but if this is pp trickery it is incredibly well done.
