The Crossing of St Mary's Cathedral, Glasgow
Canon EOS 350D DIGITAL
Using Photoshop 7.
Image leveled; minor adjustment of colours to remove some of the orange tint from the lighting; cropped and reduced
The stars (and the rocket) on the crossing were part of a major artwork that was the subject of an competion in the mid 1980's which was won by the American artist Gynneth Leach (then a member of the Cathedral Choir). The vertical surfaces around the crossing include subjects from the Revelation of St John; and Noah and the Flood.

Wonderful! Will have to see this for real one time...

For those who have not found them, the Shooting star is in bottom right quarter and Rocket is in the top left quarter. Hours of endless fun watching small children pointing them out to their parents.

Interesting and brilliant but I can't justify seeing a rocket anywhere. What am I missing?
