Post-Processing: cropped, brightened, resized and sharpened a little bit       Extra Info: The ignition of a match is a unique act. There is none like the other one. I know it, because I had to take a lot of shots -and matches- to get this picture. But every single one has its own beauty.

Mepo has writ the book on marshmellow roasting - that's all you need to know.

Congrats for your tt finish. Now go get some marshmallows and put your love of fire to good use. Warn you kids that there is a danger of burning your fingers or your mouth but it is usually worth the reward. If you roast it till it is just bubbly you can pull the outer (hot) skin off with your teeth (or fingers) and then roast the rest of the mallow. We use a sharpened branch from a tree to spike them as metal holders cause too many burns.

Astonishing coincidence having 3 match ignition shots (and, well, also a marshmellow :-) in the same challenge. Your extra info is perfectly right, each one has its own beauty. I tend to like yours the best among those, due to the beautiful fire form and superb sharpness. A nice TT for me, great job!

The timing and cleanliness of this capture is pretty cool. Its beautiful! I'm not sure what type of personality it would take to persevere for a shot like this but our fascination with ignition must surely be instinctive.

...I like the effect and the lights...But the composition doesn't catch my curiosity...Don't know...Perhaps it's the crop factor...
...But it's only my opinion...Ufff

Great shot. I love the pattern you have captured. Only wish the centre was not so blown but I know how hard it is to avoid that. I particularly like the particles exploding away from the flame.

I like the two match effect and framing of the subject especially. (I felt this qualifies as a solid to gas shot.)
