Thank for the vote and comments. This shot was taken at around 06:45 in the morning, after a week of misty mornings. When I took it (much like the street scene - sheep in Iona - last year) I did not have the challenge in mind, however when I saw the challenge, the picture shouted out to me as a potential entry.

googled this to find out how big it is. would love to see this one day. it says you should get there early to avoid crowds, but in this case i think i'd try to get some one strolling by to give some perspective on the size. nice exposure and lighting. in my favs. good luck. el

The more I see this photo the more I like it. There is such serenity and peacefulness in the landscape.

I little dust on your sensor along the left edge?
The backlighting is so soft, we have almost lost the sense of water. I sense a really interesting shot would be possible concentrating on the water reflections and shell part of the shot.

Dramatic but tending close to silhouette for me; still nicely set up and "clean" in composition.
