For me you've hit the jackpot with this one. The eyes are framed perfectly and there is nothing to distract from them. Composition is about perfect. My favorite, and I predict a number of other viewers will feel the same.

Great eyes. It looks like he has a bit of tears going? Nice catch.

Yes I can see why you loved this one, just wondering if he was crying his eyes look glassy. Love the hat as well, this is in my faves, all the best.

A wonderfully soft study of a young boy. The colours are just beautiful, and the crop is perfect.

Another beautiful portrait, the eyes have it and the same colored couch.

Amazing shot - unconventional composition works well here. I actually like the dirty window as it reinforces what we are seeing. I'm guessing by the bright eyes that he knows you and is happy to see you. The hat and the couch center all the attention on the eyes and you couldn't wish for more. Congrats on getting this.

I love how the color of the eyes matches the fabric (sleeves? blanket?)!

The eyes certainly have it! the clarity and sharpness are very good for a through the window shot, and this is a very pleasing one - in my top 3.

his mother would love a copy. the blue colours with straws from the hat make this a very nice picture

Nice catch! Composition and the two worlds captured (his and ours - as reflection in the glass) well done. Minor, but probably would not use USM in this situation. Not only is that overdone a bit I think, but the loss of sharpness would probably be visually acceptable. Otherwise, I think I get this kid's story as he looks out: "what's going on out there!" Thanks for bringing us this.

    What a delightful photo!

Its to bad the window subject looking through is so dirty. Great capture, this shot gives that look of a child who is curious about something but doesn't want to be caught looking.

For a "snap" this is amazing. Well done.

Even shooting through the window you have framed this so well ; the unconventional posing works for me.
