I think less body and more head would be my choice. This cat has beautiful markings - I hope you will enter a non high key version in the outtakes. Love the colour in the eyes.

This is an excellent portrait of your cat. Love the angle and the intense gaze. I think less of a high key effect would have brought out a bit more detail and warmth.

like your approach - cat level. Effective contrast. Some highlights okay to blow; in this case, I think it detracts from the image though.

there is too much cat and not enough of the eyes for me.

What a great looking cat (and this from a dog person!). Nicely presented.

Great shot. The eyes really draw me in immediately. Just a little bit blown out is some areas - mainly top of head and part of back where the cat's outline is not distinct from the background.

Looks just too blown in the highlights. Nice composition and framing and a cool subject.

The thing that makes this photo stand out for me is the way the body seems unusually large and the way the cat's body totally dominates the right hand side. This feature balances the photo with the body on the right and the piecring eyes on the left. The two elements are brought together with the strong diagonal line of the cat's back. Good title by the way. This is a very striking pet portrait and I like it a lot.

This image is too washed out. The cat is lovely, especially those eyes.
